The 1 metre Colour Band is the ideal option when wanting to "wash" a wall with colour.
It's powerful and it's thin design mean that it can be placed up close to a wall without taking up much floor space.
Each Strip Light has it's own feet attached by a hinge which gives you the ability to angle the light to your desired direction.
You have the option to choose from 15 pre-set colours, or have it cycle through a slow colour change.
Perfect for small to medium size venues.
The Colour Band uses an RGB colour model. This means each light uses 3 primary colours (Red, Green & Blue) to produce other colour variations and hues.
Gold and "warm whites" cannot be produced with an RGB colour model light. To produce these colours and tones an RGBA colour model light is required. See the Quad Par 12 or Freedom Par Quad 4 light for more information.

How do I get the best effect out of this light?
To get the best effect from this light we suggest that you make the room you are using it in as dark as possible. The darker the room the better the effect will be.
How do I set this light up?
This light can easily be set up on the floor as it has its own brackets to help it stand up. This light is thin and short so it can easily be pushed up against the walls so that it is out of the way.
How many lights will I need?
This is always a tricky question and it comes down to a few things. Alot will depend on how big an area you want to cover, your budget and what other lights you are planning to have on in the room. Colour of the walls can also make a difference and if your walls are white you will usually need less lighting as it will reflect the light better and the lights will seem brighter. Some people will do up lighting all around the whole reception venue and some people will just do one wall as a feature such as behind the bridal table. Depending on the venue we usually suggest one light every 5 to 6 metre’s for best effect.
How much power do I need?
Alot will depend on how many lights you wish to use but as these lights are led you can run at least 10 from one power point.
What is required to make this light work?
All you are required to do is plug into power and switch on. If you are having a preset colour we will set it for you. If you wish for all lights to do a slow colour change, all lights will need to be connected together so that they will change in sync.
